Their idea of gaining enlightenment mainly was that.. to only cultivate the Samadhis and to go higher up in their meditative concentration and not to depend on mundane sustenance. And so, one day, as Siddhartha, after six years,.. he noticed that even though he has actualized all the Samadhi’s stages of meditation there is in the whole world, he was still not liberated, he still did not have omniscience; his afflictions was not abandoned from their roots. So, also, he saw that the weaker his body is, also the weaker his mind becomes. There are many stories of how he reached that conclusion. Some say he was sitting near Nairanyana river and there was a boatman playing sitar.. …
